Today I discovered a new joy. The $1 bin at New England Comics. I actually scored an original Doom Patrol #93 (First Series!) for a buck just because the cover was ripped. The stories still read great though. I love the Doom Patrol (All three incarnations!)
Right now I am watching The Justice League on Cartoon Network . I have been waiting for this to start it's five night a week run. I fell in love with this show in re-runs and can't wait for season two. I highly recommend it. It's going to be followed by X-Men Evolution also. Another highly anticipated show for me.
I'll let you know more about them tomorrow.

Work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, today I am paying the price for staying up until 11pm to watch X-Men Evolution last night. I am draggin' especially after lunch now. Sheesh... Anyway the shows were worth it. Looks like I am buying a new Tape for the VCR tonite though, I am not staying up that late again.... (man do I feel old, before the heart attack I maybe scored six hours a night. Since October, though, I've gotten used to getting eight or nine. I still got seven last night, but it dood me.... :)
Yeah, I said Heart attack. Here I am, 32 years old and I've already had a stent put in my heart. It really makes me wonder some times. I've been trying to re-start my blog since it happened, but haven't had a lot of luck until now. I hope I keep going with it! :)
Anyway, as much as I am bellyachin' I gotta admit I loved every minute of last night's toon fest. I have the entire first story arc of the Justice League on DVD, but still, watching it on Cartoon Network seems somehow, more appropriate.
Anyway, I better get back to work.

Howdy. Just thought I'd check in. I've been writing Perl code
since 7am and boy are my arms tired. Seriously though, I have been writing a program to extract data from a database
as xml and save it to individual files, one for each table in the databse, I've been
doing this because I am going to be writing a cross platform (Java?, Real Basic?) app
to do the same job as a cgi I have running. The web site is www.boatcovers.cc
This is owned by Taylor Made Products. It is used to lookup part numbers for a boat cover
designed to fit your boat. The script is kind of simple, but I decided to do it cgi
because php didn't exist yet (and STILL isn't in my vocabulary) and because I have an
unerring desire to torture myself. :)
My Wife did the graphics and page layout. That way I only had to worry about the code.
Besides, as you can see from this site, my design skills are not top of the heap. :)

This is my first entry in my Weblog. I hope to keep up with it better than I did with my last web site. It seems that I should be able to. I have a few better ways to put the content up here now. Including a new editor (Pepper, I had it before but I couldn't make it run on Mac OS X version 10.1 - The new owners Digital Wandering helped me fix that in Jaguar). This certainly makes things easier for now. I used it to design the look and feel of this entire site and then add the content in just a couple of hours. Can't say enough about Pepper.
I'll have more to say in the next few days.
